French, Japy Freres, ROYAL BONN, porcelain china, LE GRANDE, in attractive shades of magenta with gold highlights and 3 cherubic children on the front panel, shown playing, one with book, another with lyre. The porcelain dial also with fine decorations.
CONDITION:
as good as it gets, strong Bonn trademark. Over the years, we have had a dozen or so Bonns with French movements, all likely assembled in Paris. If Ansonia, this would bring around $1750. Mov't & pendulum with matching numbers - 8393. Ht 20.5"
